Sleep Top Tip Number 4. Create the perfect sleep ambience.
The optimal sleep environment is one that's cool, dark and quiet.
Part of becoming drowsy in the evening is that your core body temperature starts to drop.
Eliminate noise and light distractions by charging smartphones outside the bedroom door to avoid the glow, the ding and the temptation to get up and check on something.
You can manually switch your phone to "Do Not Disturb" mode.
Also under "Settings" you can activate "Night Shift" and set the times that you want the 'phone to be automatically switched into "Do Not Disturb".
As belt and braces, you could also go into different Apps and set them up to not disturb you after say 10pm and before 6am
