Honour Those That Went Before You and Invested in You

The one thing that a lot of successful people have in common is that they express gratitude on an almost daily basis.

They are grateful for the sunrise, the ability to see the sunrise and the opportunities that life offers.

I think that it's important to honour and express gratitude as well to those that went before us and invested in us.

That investment may be through time invested, emotional investment or actual monetary investment.

I want to honour my father-in-law who passed away last summer.

He raised my wife and invested in her to go through law school and she's a wonderful mother to my two beautiful kids because he believed in her and encouraged her through his actions.

My public declaration is that there will be a building created and named in his honour.
