Lots of People will be giving you advice on the books you ought to read.
You will be seeing lists everywhere.
Some are good to read and some are interesting and some give practical advice.
I prefer a book that has all three and here are my top 6 from the last year.
1. The Values Factor - by Dr John DeMartini - Get it Here.
If you want to start the process - the proper process - for self development then you need a strong foundation. This book gives it to you.
Start with your values. Then you can grown in accordance with your values and you will enjoy what you do. If you enjoy what you do, you will keep going when things get tough.
2. Life Leverage - by Rob Moore - Get it Here.
This book is full of practical advice. Much of it drawn from other sources but still valuable. If you follow the advice in this book daily you WILL succeed at whatever you decide to do.
3. Own The Day, Own Your Life - by Aubrey Marcus - Get it Here
Have a good day and you have a good week. Supercharge your energy, uplift your immune system and decrease stress. What's not to like? It's a road map for your life.
4. Get Anyone to do Anything - David J. Lieberman - Get it Here
Understand human behaviour to this level and you will be in the top 1%. Kepp going and your income will start to reflect your skills.
5. Just Listen - Mark Goulston - Get it Here
This is an updated version of Number 4. It helps you understand how to get through to unreachable people. Proven techniques for whenever your job, a sale or relationship hangs in the balance.
6. Legacy - 15 Lessons in Leadership - by James Kerr - Get it Here
In this best seller the author looks at the world's most successful sporting team, the New Zealand All Blacks, to reveal 15 powerful and practical lessons for leadership
